What happens if you eat alka seltzer

I do it all the time. Let it rest on your tongue and let it foam away. It's bitter but imho it's faster acting that way. After you do it a couple of times you won't even worry about needing water I gave one to a friend once and forgot to tell him about putting it in water.. I turned around to see him running to the kitchen puking foam lol, it was quite entertaining. Many medicines available over the counter contain aspirin or caffeine. Taking certain products together can cause you to get too much of this type of medication. Check the label to see if a medicine contains aspirin, ibuprofen, ketoprofen, naproxen, or caffeine. Ask your doctor before using aspirin and caffeine if you take an antidepressant such as citalopram, escitalopram, fluoxetine Prozac , fluvoxamine, paroxetine, sertraline Zoloft , trazodone, or vilazodone.

Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Only once! Made the mistake of trying to swallow to stop the foaming. Did not turn out well at all. Really glad it was not a complete tablet. If you're squeamish or a member of PETA, don't read this. Sure 'nuff, Mister Gull swooped and captured the morsel mid-air, and gulped it down.
